Love, inclusiveness, diversity, and freedom are all keywords for Flying Tiger Copenhagen as a brand and workplace. Therefore, we are very proud to announce that Flying Tiger Copenhagen and Copenhagen Pride have entered a partnership for 2023. As a main partner, Flying Tiger Copenhagen will financially support Copenhagen Pride as well as being an official sales channel for the famous Copenhagen Pride support wristbands. Furthermore, Flying Tiger Copenhagen will take part in the Parade on August 19 with an eye-catching float and a large group of engaged employees.

The partnership is a natural next chapter in Flying Tiger Copenhagen’s rainbow story being one of the very first retail chains making rainbow products widely available all year round.

Everyone has the right to be who they are, and at Flying Tiger Copenhagen, we cultivate diversity and inclusion in every aspect of our business. Both towards our customers through our products and communication, and internally among our store staff across all our 30+ markets as well as at our head office in Copenhagen.

Martin Jermiin, CEO of Flying Tiger Copenhagen, has been looking forward to announcing the partnership:"It is fully in line with our values and our brand that we become a main partner of Copenhagen Pride. Flying Tiger Copenhagen is built on values where diversity and inclusion are fundamental. This has been the case since we opened our first store in 1988 and we are proud to keep this heritage alive. Today, we are an international company present in more than 30 countries and everywhere we use our platform to advocate tolerance and diversity. We look forward to being able to express these values even more widely through the partnership and the opportunities it opens for us."

At Copenhagen Pride, the partnership is also very exciting, "We are pleased to welcome Flying Tiger Copenhagen as a main partner," says Steve Taylor, Head of Secretariat for Copenhagen Pride."Furthermore, we are glad to have been able to enter into a productive discussion about the importance of corporate responsibility when it comes to supporting the LGBTI+ community globally, year-round. In collaboration with us, Flying Tiger Copenhagen will be identifying ways to support local Pride initiatives in countries where the brand is present, with a particular emphasis on regions where LGBTI+ rights are under attack. We look forward to seeing what the future of this collaboration will bring!"

The partnership is truly great news, but it is not news that diversity plays an important role in Flying Tiger Copenhagen. In every aspect of the company, we welcome and embrace differences whatever they may be – we are a company with room for each and every one who live and respect our values.
